    Brushless cordless lithium battery electric wrench

    Brushless cordless lithium battery electric wrench is an industrial tool that achieves high efficiency and high precision bolt tightening through motor drive. It is widely used in steel structures, rail transit, automobile manufacturing, and other fields. Its core advantage lies in improving construction efficiency and ensuring connection reliability.

    Brushless cordless lithium-ion electric wrenches, as key tools in modern assembly operations, have gradually replaced traditional manual wrenches and pneumatic tools. They output high torque through a built-in motor (usually a brushless DC motor) combined with a planetary reduction mechanism, and utilize an electronic control system to achieve constant torque or angle monitoring, ensuring that each bolt connection meets process standards. With the advancement of intelligent manufacturing and industrial automation, the requirements for tool accuracy, data traceability, and operational convenience are constantly increasing, driving electric wrenches towards intelligent and digital development.

    Suggestions for the use and maintenance of electric wrenches

    Use a socket of matching size to avoid slipping and damaging the screw head;

    It is recommended to tighten in stages: first, pre-tighten and then apply the target torque;

    The tool will automatically stop once it reaches the set value, so do not apply force forcibly;

    Regularly clean the surface oil stains and check the lubrication status of transmission components;

    Lithium batteries should be avoided overcharging and over-discharging, and stored in a dry environment.

    Working principle of brushless lithium battery electric wrench

    An electric wrench primarily utilizes a motor to drive an internal impact mechanism. Once the nut comes into contact with the work piece, it generates high-frequency, high-torque impact force, enabling rapid tightening or loosening of bolts. Its core mechanism lies in the synergistic effect of "rotation + impact".

    Ordinary manual wrenches rely on human effort to apply torque, which is inefficient and difficult to control in terms of precision. Electric wrenches, powered by electricity, can output a large torque far exceeding human effort in a short period of time, and are widely used in high-strength bolt construction scenarios such as steel structures and automobile assembly. Understanding its working principle is helpful for proper use and maintenance, avoiding operation error that could lead to tool damage or safety hazards.

    Detailed explanation of working principle (taking impact electric wrench as an example)

    Startup phase: After the power is turned on, the motor drives the active impact block to rotate. At this point, the nut has not yet fully engaged, resulting in less resistance and a smooth rotation of the tool.

    Contact resistance increase: When the nut end surface comes into contact with the workpiece, the resistance torque rises sharply, forcing the ball to move backward along the spiral groove and pushing the active impact block to slide backward against the spring pressure.

    Impact occurs: During the backward movement, the driving impact block disengages from the meshing teeth of the driven impact block, and under the action of spring reset, it instantly rushes forward, striking the driven impact block and generating a strong impact.

    The process repeats continuously: rotating the energy storage device → retracting and disengaging the teeth → releasing the spring → instantaneous impact, forming a continuous impact torque to continue tightening the nut.

    This "energy storage-release" mode can effectively prevent motor overload while ensuring that each impact can transmit sufficient torque.

    Key factors in selecting lithium-ion electric wrenches

    Select based on torque requirements (core indicator)

    Different bolt specifications correspond to different torque requirements. When selecting, one should refer to the common range of standard screws:

    Bolt specification Socket size Recommended torque for electric wrench Typical application scenarios
    M20 30mm 380 N•m Scaffolder, light assembly
    M22 32mm 550 N•m Equipment installation and maintenance
    M24 36mm 850 N•m Bridge and factory construction
    M30 46mm 1500 N•m Large machinery, power generation equipment
    M36 55mm 2100 N•m Petrochemical equipment, heavy-duty flange

    It is recommended to choose a slightly lower grade of high-strength bolt to avoid damage due to excessive torque.

    Select by power type

    Type Feature Application
    Brush motors low-cost and have been gradually phased out Not recommended
    Brushless motor Long lifespan, high efficiency, maintenance-free Currently mainstream, suitable for all professional scenarios
    Constant torque control Automatically stops when reaching the pre-set value, with an accuracy of ±3% High-precision assembly, such as aviation and automobile assembly
